Hi Mike I think you are mistaking me for somebody else. I would not 'rile up' any of my spiders for any reason, least of all to take a picture. The pictures you describe do not sound like any Brachypelma species that I know of. Regards Marie Metcalfe.

Greetings! Absolutely great site! I enjoy reading about your spiders. In case you don't remember, you sent a great picture to me of one of your spiders that you "riled up" so it would get into it's threatening position. I've used it extensively in my seminar on spiders. I was wondering what you do with the skins after the moult. I have found a taxidermist here in the USA who has mastered the art of mounting large spider skins - and they look real!! I've ordered two. They come mounted in a clear plastic tube so that it can be held and viewed at all angles. Anyway, have you ever had that done to your spider skins? You sent me some GREAT pictures of some absolutely beautiful specimens - one was teal colored with pink feet, another was mainly pink all over but with very long hair. I would love to be able to buy some of those skins and have them mounted for people over here to see. Do you think that's a possibility? Looking forward to hearing from you, and again --- WELL DONE site! Mike Snavely

Question? Anybody have any idea what to feed tarantula spiderlings and if so can these be obtained from an internet supplier? Cheers Chris

Found you on the BTS forum. A nice dedicated Brachy site with some excellent pictures - really put mine to shame. * Check your hi-res link from the first B.smithi galley pic - it goes to a B.vagans sling!
